Getting Started with Reporting

TeamDynamix has easy-to-use reporting capabilities that are available across all three interfaces of the system. Most report creation and management is done in the Work Management at the application level.

Where to Find Reports

Reports appear in the Work Management (TDNext), Client Portal (TDClient), and Global Admin (TDAdmin) interfaces.

  • Work Management is where all reports are created and edited.
    • Also where reports are most commonly viewed.
  • Client Portal provides report viewing access to certain licensed customers.
  • Global Admin provides access to an evaluation of all saved reports and the ability to change ownership.

Finding and Reports in Work Management

  1. In Work Management, click View Applications.
  2. Select the application tile.
    • i.e. Tickets, Projects, Analysis
  3. In the left navigation bar, click the report you want to view.

Finding Reports in Client Portal

  1. In the Client Portal toolbar, click Reports.
  2. Select the report you want to view.
  3. Click Run Report.

Finding Reports in TDAdmin

  1. Go to the TDAdmin homepage.
  2. In the left navigation menu, click Saved Reports.
  3. Click the Name of the report you want to view.
    • (OPTIONAL) Use the Search, Owner, and Visibility fields to help you find the report.

Report Display Features

  • Use report charts to quickly convey data points and measurements.
  • Create a set of reports, add them to a Desktop, and configure how they display to share an organized view of data.
  • Extend the manipulability of your reports by importing them directly into Excel using the Excel Reporting Add-In.

Using Reports to Stay Organized

  • Stay on top of all your own work from a single place using the My Work application.
  • Report folders make it easy to organize reports that teams and organizations have built.
  • Saved searches provide a quick way to see results for searches that you regularly need to perform.
