Who can use this feature?
- Users with Work Management access can create and manage their own dashboards.
- Global Administrators can make dashboards available to other users with dashboard templates.

Dashboards are part of the new Work Management interface. For more info on the interface updates, go to these articles:
Dashboards enable users to create custom views for their Work Management data. Users can use out of the box widgets as well as custom reports when building dashboards.
- At the platform level, dashboards can pull information from anywhere in Work Management.
- At the application level, dashboards can show information from within that specific application.
In addition to creating dashboards for themselves, Global Administrators can also share dashboards to other Work Management users.
In this article, we’ll cover how to:

To create a new platform dashboard:
- From the homepage, click + New Dashboard.
- Enter a Name
- (Option) Enter a Description.
- Click Save.
- This will take you to the Edit Dashboard page.
- Select your row layouts and add widgets.
- (Optional) Click Edit Dashboard Settings (gear icon) to adjust the default settings.
- Auto-Refresh: Enables dashboard to automatically refresh data without manual prompt.
- Mark this my default Dashboard: Sets the dashboard as the default dashboard that appears on the Work Management homepage.
- Public: Enables users to access the dashboard without logging in to TeamDynamix.
- Click Save.
To create an application dashboard:
- Click View Applications.
- Select the relevant application tile.
- On the application homepage, click Get Started.
Users can control the look and feel of their dashboard through rows and row layouts.
- Dashboards can have multiple rows.
- Rows have their own layout options.
By default, dashboards start with only one row in the 50%|50% layout.

To add a new row:
- At the button left of the Edit Dashboard page, click the Add Row (plus sign).
- At the top right of the Edit Dashboard page, click Save.
To change the layout of a row:
- To the right of the row, click Change Row Layout (split window icon).
- Select the layout you want.
- 100%
- 50%|50%
- 33%|33%|33%
- 33%|66%
- 66%|33%
- 75%|25%
- 25%|70%
- 25%|50%|25%
- 25%|25%|50%
- 50%|25%|25%
- 25%|25%|25%|25%
- At the top right of the Edit Dashboard page, click Save.
To delete a row:
- To the right of of the row, click Remove Row (x icon).
- At the top right of the Edit Dashboard page, click Save.
To add items to a dashboard:
- In the Edit Dashboard page, click + Add Widget.
- Select the widget tile.
- Tip: Use search or navigation to quickly find widgets.
To move widgets:
- Click and hold the widget tile.
- Drag and drop the widget into the area of the dashboard you want it.
Hovering over a widget shows the following options:
- Remove Widget (x icon): Click this to remove the widget from the dashboard row.
- View Report Details (info icon): Click this to view more information about the widget report.
- Move Widget Up/Down: If there are multiple widgets in a section, you’ll see the option to move the widget up or down.
- Add Widget Above/Below: Click this to add a widget above or below the current widget.
To get to the Manage Dashboards page:
- Go to the Work Management homepage.
- At the top right of the page, click Manage Dashboards.
From here users can:
- Click the dashboard name to open it in edit view.
- Click Open to view it in a new tab.
- Set a dashboard as their default dashboard.
- Delete a dashboard.
To view different platform dashboards:
- From the Work Management homepage, click the name of the dashboard to open the Dashboard menu.
- This menu lists all of dashboards available to you.
- Select the dashboard you want to view.
You can also click Manage Dashboards > Open to view a dashboard in a new tab.
To edit platform dashboards:
- From the Work Management homepage, open the Dashboard menu.
- Select the dashboard you want to edit.
- Click Edit Dashboard.
You can also get to this by clicking Manage Dashboards and clicking the name of the dashboard.
To edit an application dashboard:
- Click View Applications.
- Select the relevant application tile.
- At the top right of the application homepage, click Edit Dashboard.

Global Administrators have the option to share dashboards with other users through the Dashboard Template feature.
