Project Status percentage does not reflect Project Plan completion

The project plan shows we are more than 3/4 of the way through the project.

The pie chart says it is 88%, but the project status indicator in the project list shows 0%.

Did I not configure something correctly?

They should all show the same percent complete.

Please advise,

Tim

Hi Mark,

What is not clear is where I need to do this update.

As you can see from the image attached, I have been updating the plan regularly and the component percentages are updated automatically when I provide updates to the plan...but the overall status indicator still sits at 0%.

Is there some strange obscure magical location I need to go to manually enter the values from the Project planner?

I am unaccustomed to PM Platforms that require this much tending, so your help here is much appreciated.

Thanks,

Tim

As the Project Manager of your project, you'd access the Projects app in TDNext, click on your project, click Manage, then use the Update button there to set a new percent complete value and if needed adjust the current health or Status value of the project. - Mark Sayers Wed 9/4/24 9:22 AM

Hi Timothy,

The project does not automatically acquire its percent complete value from the plan(s) that are on it. You do also have to update your project periodically to indicate what is current percent complete status is.
