Project appears 100% complete, but there are still open tasks
Hello, I'm wondering why my total % complete says 100% when I clearly still have tasks which have not been completed. Screen shot is below.

Hello Sarah,
This has to do with how plan % Complete is calculated when Estimated hours are present. It is documented in this KB article here: https://solutions.teamdynamix.com/TDClient/1965/Portal/KB/ArticleDet?ID=8127
With Estimated Hours
When at least one main-level task has estimated hours defined, the plan's percent complete is calculated using the following formula:
Sum(For each root-level task: root-level percent complete * root-level estimated hours / Total estimated hours)
No feedback
We are having the exact same issue, I'm not sure it is due to the formula being used to calculate % completion on a plan. We are not using estimated hours (only duration) and even after updating numerous parent and child tasks to 0% complete, the overall plan % complete still reflects 100% complete. This is obviously causing a lot of confusion when leadership is reviewing project statuses. :)

Agreed. I found the answer to be very difficult to understand and I moved on. The project in question is now actually 100% complete. But I would appreciate this being simpler for me and for project resources to understand too.
