Isolate Data from Variable Response Body

Hello,

I have a question regarding isolating data from the response body in a web service step.

I am trying to extract data from a Maintenance Activity on a change request, and to do so will need the ID of the task.

I read through this article: https://solutions.teamdynamix.com/TDClient/1965/Portal/KB/ArticleDet?ID=148498, but when it refers to isolating data in a list it only mentions using a hard-coded index.

My question is if there since I can't necessarily guarantee the index of of the maintenance activity task when I get the response, is there a way to either refine the ticket task list that is pulled from the web service, or a way to specify the ID of the task by it's type.

Thank you in advance,

Hi Tuscan,

I think I'd need to see more specifically what is being attempted to offer advice on it. If you feel this should be more of a private conversation to relay those details, please submit a support ticket so we can follow up and provide specifics of your web service call with screen shots of the URL and body of the call and your parameters.
