How to simplify the project request submission process in the TDx PMO

Hi,

I use the TDx PMO in a real life application (City IT Dept).

As a PMO manager, I find the project request submission process and the project request review process obscure and unnecessarily complex

The save button should be next to the submit button at the bottom of the page. Is there a way to do that?

We also need to remove some steps. People are submitting a short form to start the conversation about a project.

They aren't drafting an essay for review by a college admission board!

Can someone tell me how we can remove some of these steps to the request submission process?

Also can we make it easier for people to figure out how to edit their request if the PMO sends it back for revision?

I have had to get on Teams calls to show people how. In 2024, this thing should not involve tech support and training to get a project submitted.

I am loath to even use the project planner because of how much work it will be to train stakeholders across the city on how to use the PMO.

Thanks for helping me simpify this.

Hi Tim,

I'll reach out to you directly on this as it might be easiest to go over this together.  There are certainly ways to simplify your process.

Thanks,

Mark
