IVY chatbot - Zoom Contact Center - javascript file in script tags

Hello TDX,

I have in the past asked about running a .js file within a script tag to launch Zoom Contact Center from client portal for live support calls. However, I was told that running the .js file within a script tag is not allowed.

To my main question.

If a chatbot like say IVY was integrated into TDX, would a .js file within a script tag launched from IVY still be disallowed? I would think it would run from their system.

For reference I added the product enhancement request Incident number and link to question discussing this a separated time with TDX

Thank you for all your help with this. We are really trying to get this to work.

Hi Michael,

Actually Ivy (per this KB https://solutions.teamdynamix.com/TDClient/1965/Portal/KB/ArticleDet?ID=48230 ) is a chatbot/script that we have allowed to work by default as we specifically have made allowances for their script.

You can see the default script sources in TDAdmin > Organization Settings > HTML Content Allowlists > Script Sources and the Ivy source is listed already.

Hi Mark,

Sorry if I was not clear. What I meant was IVY has the ability to serve as a launching pad for Zoom Contact Center. A button can be provide by the chatbot. Zoom Contact Center isn't allow to launch directly from TDX, but can it launch from IVY chatbot on TDX client portal?

That I am not sure of. I'd guess that it is possible since we already allow the Ivy chatbot to be used on our portals, but I haven't yet had a client report about trying to connect Zoom Contact Support directly through Ivy. - Mark Sayers Thu 4/25/24 11:36 AM
