People Import - Groups
Hi!
Is there a way during user import from Import Jobs to create a user, but also add them to an existing group? if so, what field heading is needed?

Hello Michael,
Unfortunately the people importer does not facilitate group management at the same time.
We do have a separate group utility though to allow for doing group management in an automated fashion: https://solutions.teamdynamix.com/TDClient/1965/Portal/KB/ArticleDet?ID=141374
You'd want to import the users first, then execute the group utility after the processing of the people import file.

Thanks Mark...one more question. What is the largest amount of users that can be imported via Import Jobs in Admin?

It's not so much a max-users count so much as it is a file size limitation. In general, you can only submit files up to around 4 MB in size, though you'd want to try to stay under that to best insure they won't fail to upload successfully.
So try to cut your files at around the 3 to 3.5MB size and start a new one (which our people import utility already can do for you if you just use that instead of manually uploading them). - Mark Sayers Wed 1/10/24 11:20 AM
