Images working in article are now broken

Hi there,

I have a situation where an article with a number of images, which once showed fine, are now broken. Here is the link to the specific article.

Here is a screencap of the result

You'll note that one image works fine. The others had been fine for a couple of weeks. Suddenly they are not showing.

I can read them all, but if this is going to happen again, randomly, this makes using images impractical.

What could have caused this?

Cheers,
Damon

Hello Damon,

Those images point to URLs in the Sandbox. Likely becuase the KB was originally written there and then copied over to Prod without the images themselves having been uploaded into the Prod environment. Then the recent Sandbox quarterly refresh would have erased the images as Prod overwrote was was in Sandbox.

Hi Damon,

Do you know when the images last worked and what method was used to embed them? If you inspect the source code and copy the link address in the src tag, it seems to go to a 404 error page. Is it possible that those links are no longer valid?

Thanks,
