Creating A New Project Request

To create a project request in TDClient, the user must:

  1. Go to the Services application in the Client Portal. 
  2. Find the appropriate Category and/or Service which will request a project for your organization and click its name link.
  3. Click the button to request the service. By default this button text is Request Service, but it may have been customized to say something else.
  4. In the General tab, enter any required and optional information as necessary. 
  5. At this point the request is saved and the user may move to different sections of the request.
  6. Fill out all sections in the request as necessary and Mark Complete
  7. Once all sections are marked complete, the user must click the "Review and Submit" tab and then the "Submit for Review" button at the top.
  8. After the request has been submitted for the review, it will no longer be editable in the Services application.

To create a project request from TDNext, the user must:

  1. Navigate to "Applications -> Portfolio Planning -> +New -> Project Request." Project Request will popup in a new window that directs you over to TDClient.
  2. In the General tab, enter any required and optional information as necessary.
  3. At this point the user may save the section and move to a different sections of the request.
  4. Fill out all sections in the request as necessary.
  5. Once all sections are marked complete, the user must click the "Review and Submit" tab and then the "Submit for Review" button at the top.
  6. After the request has been submitted for the review, it will only be editable in the Portfolio Planning application.

If at any time the user wishes to save the request for later, they can save the section they are currently working on and close the window. To return to a saved but incomplete project request the user must:

  1. Go to the Services application in the Client Portal.
  2.  Click the sub-navigation link for Project Requests.
  3. Find the request you wish to re-open.
  4. Continue working on the request.
