Project Plan Edit modal - closing
If I have a task opened in the Edit Task window in a waterfall plan and click outside of the window, everything disappears. I've also had this happen when I don't click outside of the window although, I can't seem to find a pattern to identify what exactly I'm doing. This is pretty frustrating as I lose everything that I typed. Can this be prevented?

Hi Jason,
Are you able to record a screen recording of this being reproduced consistently?
If so, please provide that and we'll take a look at what might be going on. Otherwise, please provide an exact sequence of steps that you took to open TDX, get to the plan in question, open the task, and what you did from there to reproduce this issue.

Thanks Mark.
The steps are:
1) Open a waterfall project plan
2) Click "Check Out"
3) Right-click a task and select the menu item, Edit Task
4) Change any details in that task. I tried this with Title, start date, end date, priority, description, estimated hours, tags, etc.
5) click outside of the window.
6) click back into your task as I did in step 3. Or double click to view details.
7) notice that details were not saved because you clicked outside of the window and did not click the Save button
It's very easy to incidentally click outside of the modal.
Looks like you're using bootstrap modals which have the backdrop and keyboard properties that you can set to prevent this behavior.

I believe this behavior is currently expected, though I can certainly see where it would be frustrating.
