Custom Field Name in Asset Details form
When creating Assets, we changed the name and reordered some of the attributes on the custom form.
For example: External ID changed to Green Tag and moved from the bottom of the form to the top
However, these changes do not stick when viewing the details of an asset. The changes only show when editing or creating a new asset.
We've done this same process in custom ticket forms in other applications and did not have any issue changing the field names or reordering the form, but we cannot change the attribute names in the assets application.

Changing the name of a standard field like External ID (in the case of assets) does not "stick" when you go to view that asset's Details view. The same is true for ticketing as well. Also, the custom attributes on an asset or ticket form will always be displayed (in the Details view of that item) in a lower position relative to all of the standard fields for that item.
