Time Tracking Training

I've been looking through the KB quite a bit, and I see how to create time and expense types.  But there are pieces of the puzzle that don't seem to fit.  

1.  When I assign a ticket a certain Hours budget, it wants to be in a dollar form.  But there is also a Time budget and Expense budget that are also hours.

2.  When I go to the ticket, the hours I put in do not accrue in either time or dollar form against the budget.

3.  I understand users can have an hourly amount assigned to them.  But their time types might be billed out differently.  Can we set time types with hourly rates?

4.  Most importantly, can we get a training session where we can see time and expense tracking from ticket to user to some kind of billing assistance?  I would be willing to use Value hours for this.

Hello Sheila,

Re: Time Types, no a time type does not have its own hourly rate. Each person has values on their user account for Bill Rate and Cost Rate which are used to bill time when a billable time type is used on an item like a ticket.

For training, I would advise reaching out to your CSX team to ask about facilitating that kind of engagement and they'll best be able to point you in the right direction or else set up the engagement for you specifically.
