E-mail Autoreply for specific forms
Is it possible to configure an autoreply for specific forms?
Can this be configured within TDX or the e-mail account associated with the TDX application?

Hello Kenneth,
Email monitors do not have a function for auto-replying, but you could potentially create a workflow that gets applied to the tickets that are processed by your email monitors which has a Notification step to send a message to the Requestor as the first step of the workflow.

Are workflow steps automated or would a TDX user need to manually send the message to the requestor?

Workflow steps are automated as far as Notification steps go. A Task type step, an Approval, or a Choice step are ones that must be manually completed, but none of those really sends a specific message to the Requestor. You can configure a Notification step to send something to the Requestor.

I was able to get this process to work.
I am a bit confused on the functionality of the notifcation in workflows however.
In workflows I have created the notification, and successfully added "Recipients" and "Recipient Role(s)".
In order to test the functionality, I have set Recipient(s) to myself (Ken Rollins) and Recipient Role(s) to Requestor.
Will this notification first send to Recipient or to Recipient Role? - Kenneth Rollins Tue 10/1/24 3:04 PM

Recipients will *always* be sent notifications. The system will also try to send notifications to any person that correspond to a Recipient Role or roles that you may select on that step as well.
