Project Administrator unable to assign tasks.

This is probably a stupid question, but I have a project administrator that can create a project and create tasks, but is unable to assign them.

I looked at their security profile and I'm not able to find the line that gives them access to add people to a task in a project. 

What needs to be added to their access to activate this permission?

Do they have the plan checked out currently? I'm guessing this is a waterfall type plan?

Not sure, but someone else was added to the project and was able to assign tasks (did not check out the plan), but the project admin still cannot. - Mathew Chandler Tue 4/23/24 12:30 PM
It sounds like the project admin doesn't have the relevant permissions to edit tasks on their security role. Can you check on that? - Mark Sayers Tue 4/23/24 1:01 PM

And are they the actual "Project Manager" of the project officially, or is "Project Administrator" simply a title they hold as opposed to the actual role they fulfil on the project in TDX? - Mark Sayers Thu 4/25/24 1:57 PM
