New App with Email Monitoring and Replies

Hi,

I know I'm being a little obtuse about email monitors, but I'd like your advice on this scenario:

We want to start an application that will receive alerts from various security and monitoring systems and create tickets.  We will want the tickets to be sent to a very few individuals for review and action.

We will request a service account for alert@einsteinmed.edu for monitoring.  I believe you advised previously that we should use a different account for the replies.  If we use support@einsteinmed.edu, which is what we are using for all replies so far.  We want this messaging to be secure.  Even though a limited number of people have access to the support@einsteinmed.edu mailbox, we still might want to use alert@einsteinmed.edu.  What is your advice?

Hi Sheila,

If you do not want to use your org level replies (support@einsteinmed.edu), then you can just create a custom replies monitor for the ticket application with a different address. That said, your replies monitor will need to be a different address than your ticket creation monitor, so you'd need one email for ticket creation and a different mailbox for the replies.
