OneDrive Integration
Hi All,
I have been asked to look into OneDrive integration for attachments. I currently receive this message when I try to add a file.
Based on the first image it looks like we need to do something on our end. However, I also read that there is something TDX can configure to get it working also.

Hello Michael,
Are you trying to add files from a OneDrive for Business account or a "normal" OneDrive account?
You currently only have OneDrive for Business enabled in TDAdmin > Organization Settings > Briefcase/Attachment Integrations.
Also, I don't see the screen shots that it seems you were trying to share with your post, Can you add those again?
Sincerely,

Did Miami Dade end up creating a new app registration for the integration per this KB? https://solutions.teamdynamix.com/TDClient/1965/Portal/KB/ArticleDet?ID=86671
Because as a non-vanity URL customer, you should not have done so. It is only needed for customers who have vanity URLs. - Mark Sayers Mon 3/4/24 10:11 AM

Hi Mark,
We do have a redirect www.mdc.edu/althelp that takes users to the client portal. Would that be considered a vanity URL? I did not create an app registration. However, we inherited this instance from IT so not sure if they did something. I am confused as to how to proceed. - Michael Rodriguez Mon 3/4/24 10:17 AM

No that would not be a vanity URL. Try also checking the box for the OneDrive (non-business) integration and save it too. Your environment may need that to be enabled. Then you might sign out of TDX, close your browser windows all out, and try again.

Will do...Can you tell me what a vanity URL is as it related to TDX?

I will check into that for you, but a vanity URL is where you have changed your TDX domain to be something other than something.teamdynamix.com/ . It is a purchased thing though.

Usually the first time someone hits that they have to provide consent for the organization. If you haven't done that yet (which is what it sounds like based on that message) then you or someone with permissions to do so needs to sign in and grant consent to allow TDX to access your OneDrive unless they can do it in Azure preemptively.
