Dependent Attribute Auto-Selected Choice

I am needing to have a form that when a choice is selected in the parent attribute, the corresponding choice value (single numeric choice) is auto-selected and populates the dependent child attribute field in the form.  I tried using dropdown, but this requires manual selection of the choice in the drop down, even though it is the only choice.  Would a Radio Button type work better?

Hello Scott,

I don't believe any of our form features allow for auto-selecting the dependent child attribute's actual visible choice option. The dependency feature allows you to only choose which child field choice options appear for selection. The only way this could be done that I'd see a way to do is to make 1 child text attribute field per parent field's choice option. Then when the parent field choice is selected, the child field is available but read-only on the ticket. That way you can save default values into the field values for the children fields.
