Group Managers Unable Add Clients to Group
Hello. We have a group that only contains client users for a specific unit, which allows us to restrict services to people in that unit. While as an Administrator, I am able to add these client users to the group, the group manager is unable to add them to the group in the People application.
Is there a specific security role setting that allows group managers to add "clients" to groups, or can only an Admin do this?

Hi Tevis,
There is a security role setting in TDAdmin > Users & Roles > Security Roles for "Modify All Groups" & "Modify My Managed Groups" that determine whether or not a user is able to modify the membership of groups in TDNext.

That is what I thought and as the screen capture shows this person is unable to add Client users to the group through the People Application. Is there another setting somewhere that I am missing?

I don't believe so. Could you post a screenshot of the error being received or do no client users show up when trying to add any user to a group within the People Application?

It appears that we have to select the search tool, and select "both" or "non-employees" in the search, and then the client will show. Straight typing into the "Select People" field doesn't appear to look for "non employees"

Yes, that is correct. The lookup page is defaulted to only return employees, so you'd need to change the filter to account for non-employees as well.
