Duplicate departments

We have some duplicate departments that we need to clean up, What happens to the tickets associated with one of these departments that we will delete? Will it just remove it from the ticket or delete the ticket?

Hi James, 

You won't be able to delete an Acct/Dept that has items associated with it. You'll need to re-associate those tickets to a different Acct/Dept and then delete it or either re-associate the Acct/Dept to a different one.
