Workflow Stages

Hi!

Are workflow Stages required for successful implementation of workflows?

Also the approvers in various sequential steps are also in the group the ticket is assigned to. Sometimes an approver that is far down the line in the approval process tries to approve before others via email because of receiving email notification of assigned ticket with attached workflow. What is the best practice for this.

Hello Michael,

No the "stages" are not required. Many folks build their workflows without ever utilizing them at all.

I'm not certain how someone would attempt to try "to approve before others via email...". There is no way currently to complete an approval step via email.
