Desktop Auto-Refresh is not working

We've noticed that the desktop is not auto-refreshing.  
We have the setting checked off and are not aware of anywhere else to make this update:

I took responsibility for a ticket and it did not move to "my tickets" report until I manually updated the page over ten minutes later.

Please advise.

Hi Sarah, 

When waiting for the ticket to appear on the desktop, did you stay on the same browser tab? If you open a desktop and immediately switch to another tab, the timer will just be paused. So that means when you return to the desktop, the timer will be unpaused.

OK. That is a bit counterintuitive since we’d be unlikely to stay on the same tab rather than do other work in the meantime. We just tested and it does in fact update if we don’t change to another tab. However, it took about 5 minutes to do so. If we are working as normal going from tab to tab, that could amount to a very long time before the desktop updates, akin to how it was before when we manually updated to see the current state. - Sarah Glatz Tue 9/26/23 11:04 AM
The refresh rate is fixed at 5 minutes currently. You'd probably want to submit an Enhancement Request if you wanted to see a more frequent refresh rate. - Brittany Renn Tue 9/26/23 11:07 AM
