Cell Phone Text Messaging Capabilities

Hi,

Does the ticketing system support cell phone text notifications via the use of a form? Facilities is wondering for their emergency requests if there's any way to build a text notification to their cell phone vs. an email?

Hi Malia, 

There are not currently any SMS Text Messaging Notifcations within TeamDynamix currently, but I would definitely suggest submitting a Product Idea to ask for that kind of feature. Also, most mobile phone providers give an email address for texts to process through, so you may be able to use that as a workaround in the meantime?

Yes it is, though again your mobile providers may have an email address that can allow you to receive an email via text as a workaround. - Mark Sayers Thu 9/21/23 10:54 AM
