Convert Existing Project Plan (Cardwall) Into a Project Template

After we have already started working on a project, or even once it is completed, is it then possible to take that work and clone the data into a Project Template Plan, without needing to manually re-enter all of the data?

Example: We are getting ready to build a project in TDX with about 100 tasks, and about 1000 sub-tasks if we include those. Most of this work is more "our process" and is highly likely to be repeated, in fact we have about 8 sites that will need the exact same steps completed.

Really hoping that there is a way to accomplish this. If not, I guess that means that we just need to build the template first and then add it to the corresponding projects.
