Associating Task Templates to Ticket Templates

Hi team, 

I'm looking to assign a task template to a ticket template indefinitely, but I cannot find a way to do this currently. Is this possible and if so, what is the solution to this?

Hello Charlie,

It *is* possible to associate a ticket task template with a ticket template, however I'm unsure what is meant by your phrasing of "I'm looking to assign a task template to a ticket template indefinitely". Would you be able to elaborate on what process you're trying to achieve so we can best address whether or not it is possible?

Also interested in this. I have a Ticket Template I have created for a name change. I would like for a specific Task Template to automatically be applied to the ticket when I create a new ticket using the specific Ticket Template. If this is possible? If the form you're selecting on your Ticket Template has the Task Template field added to it, then you'll be able to achieve this, just make sure you've added it to the form in question already prior to attempting to build the Ticket Template. - Mark Sayers Thu 6/29/23 9:17 AM
