Track Project Request Date Changes

Is there a way to track date changes on project requests?  I believe in project there is an initial start and end date, is there a similar way while it is still in the request state?

Hi Chris, 

Yes, you can include Start and End dates on the Project Request Form. The request forms are located in TDAdmin > Portfolio Planning > Request Forms. You can also find more detailed information about request forms in the KB article below:

My apologies! Outside of looking at the Project Request feed, I'm not aware of a way to report on the initial start and end dates, as I believe those attributes apply after the project request has been converted into a Project. I would suggest submitting an Enhancement Request using the 'Submit a Product Idea' button on our home page (https://solutions.teamdynamix.com/TDClient/1965/Portal/Home/). That way, a feature for initial start and end dates on Project Requests can be considered for future versions. Please let me know if you have further questions. - Brittany Renn Fri 12/23/22 11:55 AM
A project report does have a column for Initial Start Date that you could use to keep track of a project's date upon creation/conversion (if it was a request first) and compare that to its current start date value. - Mark Sayers Fri 1/6/23 2:40 PM
