De-activating Project/Request sections
Hi,
I am hoping to de-activate some project/request sections (e.g. Milestones, Time Types, etc.) that we are not using in the near future in order to simplify the UI/UX. I can see the sections in Admin>Portfolio Planning/Project Request Sections, but I don't see the ability to edit any of the sections to be inactive. Is there are way to do this?

Hello Alyx,
You will need to go to TDAdmin > Portfolio Planning > Types, access a type, then go to it's Project Sections tab and deactivate any sections for that Type as needed. Repeat for all project Types you have in your system.

Hi again,
Revisiting this. I have gone to the project type and unselected to hide project sections from the left nav, but they still show up. Am I missing something?

If yes, existing projects would *not* adhere to changes in the section availability settings on the project type. You'd have to modify existing projects after having made the Type configuration settings. - Mark Sayers Thu 10/19/23 10:58 AM
