Unable to Update Project End Date

Hello Mark,
We have a small number of projects end dates but resetting them didn't work whether it is set by a Project Manager and/or an Admin. It seems to work temporarily but then after few hours it resets itself to its original end date. 

I checked each project setting options "Update the start date, end date, and estimated hours based on the projects plan(s) under Options" and it is checked. 

On the "Projects Feed", it shows that the initial change has been made but the changes don't sync on the "Project Charter" end date section.
Checking on how to fix the issue. I noticed the issue for a couple of months.

Hello Ida,

If you have the "Update the start date, end date, and estimated hours based on the projects plan(s) under Options" setting active on these projects, that means it is deriving the project's start and end dates from whatever plan(s) are on the project. I would either A) adjust those plans' start and end dates of their earliest and latest tasks or B) turn that setting off so the Start/End date of the project are maintained at the project level directly.
