Approve or Reject Item
Please explain how the approved item or reject item is used in the Approval step.

Hello Valencia,
Those options for Approval steps allow the person completing the step to Approve or Reject the entire workflow as a whole (imagine this approval step is in the middle of the workflow and is *not* the last step in the flow, but the request hinges on this particular approval). The assigned resource for the Approval step could choose to deny the entire request, and rather than have the rest of the workflow continue to proceed, it allows them to stop the workflow and notify the Requestor that their request was denied (or approved if they chose the opposite option).
