Adding A New Contact to a Project

Users can add new contact members to their projects. To add a new contact, the user must:

  1. In TDNext, click the application menu, then click Projects/Workspaces.
  2. Select the project you would like to add a contact to. A menu will be expanded beneath the project name.
  3. From the menu under the project name, click Contacts.
  4. At the top of the Contacts screen, click + New.
  5. At the prompt, choose either Choose an existing person to add as a contact or Create a new contact.
  6. To choose an existing person to add as a contact:
    1. Specify a project to add the contact to. The default project will be the one you chose in step 2.
    2. Optionally, choose a Category that this contact falls into.
    3. Use the search box or magnifying glass to select the Person you would like to add as a contact.
  7. To create a new contact:
    1. Enter a first name for the contact.
    2. Enter an Organization for the contact.
    3. Specify a project to add the contact to. The default project will be the one you chose in step 2.
    4. Optionally, fill out other fields; only first name, organization, and project are required.
  8. When complete, click Save.
