Managing Work with Favorites and Pins in Work Management

Customize your TD Work Management experience by organizing both your in-app tabs and your application selection menu. Favorites and Pins are separate features designed to help you stay focused within active work and quickly access apps, projects, and requests. Using both tools together can significantly improve navigation and efficiency.

In-App Tab Management (Favorites)

Use Favorites within the Current Tabs menu to manage your active workspace:

  1. Open the Current Tabs menu
  2. Drag and drop tabs to reorder them based on your need
  3. Select tabs to mark as Favorites
  4. Use the option to close all non-favorite tabs to quickly declutter

Favorites apply only to in-app tabs and do not appear in the application selection menu.

Application Selection Overlay (Pins)

Use Pins in the application selection menu to organize broader navigation:

  1. Open the Application Selection menu
  2. (Optional) Enable Projects and Requests to appear in the overlay
  3. Locate an app, project, or request you want quick access to
  4. Click the Pin icon next to the item
  5. Pinned items will appear in a dedicated section at the top of the menu for easy access.

Pins are only used in the application selection overlay and do not affect in-app tabs.

By using Favorites to manage your active work and Pins to organize your broader navigation, you can create a more efficient and personalized experience across TD Work Management.
