Barcode & QR Code Scanning in the TeamDynamix Mobile App

This article will help technicians use the TeamDynamix Mobile app to scan barcodes and QR codes.  

Overview

The TeamDynamix Mobile app can use the mobile device's camera to act as a barcode and QR code scanner. Throughout the mobile app, users can tap the barcode button in search and form fields to open the camera and scan a barcode or QR code.

Barcode scanning is available for the following asset fields: 

  • Serial Number
  • Service Tag
  • External ID

QR Code scanning supports opening a Ticket or Asset by scanning the QR code generated by TDNext for that item.
