WMI not finding assets
Not able to return assets via WMI
Troubleshooting
- Verify that customer is using the most up-to-date version of the Scanner software
- Confirm that WMI has been enabled for the IP address(es) the Discovery Job is targeting)
- Confirm the Discovery Job is active in TDAdmin
- Confirm that the WMI Data Provider is configured for the Discovery Job
- Test user's credentials using the WMI Tester in the Asset Discovery Manager (Utilities > WMI Test)
- Use HTTPS or add IP Addresses to the Trusted Hosts List in the WMI Tester window:

Escalation Steps
Capture the following information and escalate to Engineering:
- Discovery Job ID
- Scanner ID
- IP Address(es) of machines that should be captured via WMI
