The Private Team

This introduction article will help users to understand the intent of the Private Team which is found in the Projects application in the TDNext interface. The user must have TDNext access plus access to the Projects application. **Please note this feature will be deprecated in a future version of TeamDynamix.

Overview

The private team is a personal, private project each user has for managing personal events, files (Briefcase), contacts and links. It has no impact on the rest of the TeamDynamix system. No one else will be able to see your private team events, files, etc. Time actions like adding time entries or creating schedules cannot be performed against this project.

It is not possible to remove, close or add this project to any existing user from within TeamDynamix. It is also not possible to manually create a private team project or add other users to it. It is intended to be used only by the user who is on it.

Where to Find This

This feature appears in in TDNext in the Projects application and is located in the left navigation pane under the Projects heading.

Using a Private Team

There are no setup steps, but it contains the Briefcase, Contacts, Links, and Calendar sections the same way an actual project has them.
