Overview
Various parts of the system make use of popup windows to display content. These windows can be closed using the keyboard alone, although it may not be immediately obvious to users how to do this. Several keyboard shortcuts exist to close these popup windows without the use of the mouse, and which keyboard shortcuts are available depend on which browser and/or operating system is being used.
Closing a Popup Window
The close button on a pop-up window is not a part of the TeamDynamix web application, but rather a part of the operating system. As such, different options are available depending on which operating system and browser you are using:
- In Edge, Firefox or Chrome on Windows, press Ctrl + W.
- In Windows, press Alt + F4.
- In Windows, press Alt + Space to open the menu for the active window and then select Close from the menu.
- In Safari on a Mac, press Command + W.
