Unless explicitly stated on the documentation for a method, the accepted Web API call content types are:

application/json

Calls using any other content type (ex: text/plain) are not supported.

TeamDynamix.Api.Plans.Task.ShiftForwardDate

The earliest date to which the task can be shifted forward.

A task will not be shifted forward under any of the following circumstances:

The task is a parent task
The task is completed
The task has no predecessors
The resulting date would be after the current start date of the task
