Hours By Month By Project By User Report

Overview

This report displays the actual and estimated hours for each person who reported time against the specified project in the specified month. The chart displays the table data in bar graph form. For the chart, estimated hours data will be blue and actual hours data will be green.

Estimated hours are based off of project plan data. This includes project plan data that is on closed projects, even if the project plan data is dated after the projects' close dates. Actual hours are based off of time entered against the specified project in the specified month.

Where to Find This

Access this report in TDNext > Analysis > Desktop, and drill down into the Plan Hours desktop module.

Using the Report

1. Click on the bar chart data for the month you wish to run the “Hours By Month By Project Report” for.
   • A new window will open with the “Hours By Month By Project Report”. This report only displays data for months that have actual hours reported against projects. It links to the “Hours by Month By Project By User Report”.
2. Run the "Hours By Month By Project Report" for the month you wish to run the "Hours By Month By Project By User Report" for.
3. Click on the bar chart data for the project you wish to run the "Hours By Month By Project By User Report" for.
   • A new window will open with the "Hours By Month By Project By User Report". The "Hours By Month By Project By User Report" will only display data for people who have reported time against the specified project for the specified month (actual hours).

This report links to the "Work Items By Month By Project By User Report". If you run this report then click on the actual hours data for one of the people, the "Work Items By Month By Project By User Report" will open in a new window. The "Work Items By Month By Project By User Report" will only display data for projects that had time reported against them (actual hours).
