Unless explicitly stated on the documentation for a method, the accepted Web API call content types are:

Calls using any other content type (ex: text/plain) are not supported.

TeamDynamix.Api.ResourceAllocationEditMode.AllowDirectEdit

Resource managers will be able to direct edit and add resource assignments for resources in their resource pools.

This is a member of the TeamDynamix.Api.ResourceAllocationEditMode enumeration with a value of 2.
