Can we use the email service to append replies to feeds posted by TDX to the originating ticket if we are using single sign on?

Hello Joe,

Single Sign On actually does not come into play with the email monitor user credentials. You can view our article on setting up email monitors in the Admin area at this link: https://solutions.teamdynamix.com/TDClient/KB/ArticleDet?ID=21722

You'll end up using the TeamDynamix Username for the account which will provide authentication into TeamDynamix for your email monitor. That username can be found in the Usernames column at Admin > Users & Roles > Users. The password will be the TeamDynamix password for that account, *not* the SSO password. The TeamDynamix password can be reset from within the user account at that location above.

Sure thing Joe,

Just remember, per that article for the email monitor setup the account being monitored needs to accept IMAP connections. Perhaps your email administrators can check that article to be sure the email account in question is set up properly.

Hi Mark,

I just received your last email. I set up a new user in TDX and it has a valid mailbox in our system. When I enter the URL for our mailbox, TDX doesn't recognize it. I assume it is the port because the URL is valid when I enter it into a browser. I need to talk with our email admin person.
