Days in status

Is there a counter or way to calculate the days a ticket spends in a status? This would help pinpoint problem areas or where tickets are stalled.

Tickets closed by year report

Hi there,
I am trying to create a report that shows us the tickets closed each year but am not finding which option in 'age' works best. Perhaps that is not the route to go.
