CAI Knowledge Sets

I got access to CAI recently. My training is coming soon. I am tinkering. I am trying to get the bot to pull up KBs via knowledge sets. I created a web crawl and used the source as the root URL of the KB location on the client portal. However, the bot pulls nothing from our KBs.

I then changed the source URL to the client portal home page and asked it about something we have in plain text on the home page and nothing. Where am I going wrong?
