Project End Date Updates

The ability to add custom project attributes to the project update form is great. Is there any way to add non-custom attributes there as well?   My immediate example would be for project start/end dates.  We are constantly reminding folks to update their project end dates and it would be great if this were right on the update form every time a PM goes to update the status.  Is there a way to add these fields to the form just like we can with custom attributes?
