Budget remaining (TDNext)
Hello,
Once I have set up my project's budget and entered expenses, where can I see the remaining budget? I've run a custom project report and included 'remaining budget' as a report field, but is there a more straightforward way to get this, maybe in the Projects app?
Thank you!

Hello Constantin,
When you set up your project, did you go into the Expenses section and enter in Expense Forecasts? Those act as estimates in the expenses area to show what you expect your expenses to be.
Then at the top of the Expenses section of the project you can see total Actual expenses along with the budgeted expenses for the project.

Hello Mark,
Yes, I entered the forecasted expenditure when I created the project. However, in the Expenses tab, it only shows the expense budget ($10,000) and the actual expenditure ($3,000), but not the remaining budget ($7,000).
The Project Details tab also shows the actual spend, but it doesn’t show the remaining budget either. I had to run a custom project report to get that.
Is there an easier way to view the remaining budget directly in TDNext? - Constantin de Boisseson Thu 10/17/24 12:50 PM

Unfortunately without a report there isn't a great way to see the remaining budget information.
