Milestone report

Hi team,

Is the project manager the only person who can run a milestone report? I don't see a milestone report in the Analysis app, a custom plans report doesn't really capture detailed milestone information and a custom project report can only return milestone count. Is there another custom report type I can run in Analysis to get information on milestone for a specific project that I'm not part of.

Thank you.

Hello Constantin,

Can you advise where you are seeing a milestone report that can only be run by the project manager? Are you just referring to the project section called "Milestones"?

Sorry, I meant PM or resource. In the Projects app, under Report and then Standard Plan Reports, there is a Milestones Report. Because it's in the Projects app, I can only run it for the projects I'm part of (I can't select other projects form the drop-down list). I can't find the equivalent of that report in Analysis when I try to create a custom report. - Constantin de Boisseson Tue 10/8/24 10:09 AM
That would appear to be just a Task Report filtered down to just those tasks where "Milestone? = True". You can create that in Analysis for sure. - Mark Sayers Tue 10/8/24 10:32 AM
Thanks Mark, that's very helpful! - Constantin de Boisseson Tue 10/8/24 10:40 AM
