iPaaS Notification Providers and Metered Flows

Hi,

If we set up a notification provider in iPaaS that posts a Slack message for example, would that count towards our number of metered flows? If so, would it count as one, or would each flow that we use it in for notifications count against our metered flows?

Thanks,
Isaac

I believe I found my answer in a tooltip in iPaaS. It says "Notification Provider flows are treated in the same manner as call-only flows. They are, themselves, un-metered but may affect the metered status of flows that use them."

That would mean our Slack notification provider flow would be un-metered, but if we use it in a flow, that flow would be metered. Let me know if that is incorrect. Otherwise, I think I am all set.

Thanks,
Isaac

You are correct. The notification provider flow itself should not be metered, but, the parent flow *will* become metered.

If you were to use the notification provider flow in many flows (let's say 5 for the sake of argument), then those 5 flows would be metered since they are treated like a called flow.
