Deprecation of Basic authentication in Exchange Online

If you are using basic iMap and not using SSO for TeamDynamix authentication, do the steps below apply when setting up a new Auth Accounts?

Perform these steps in an Incognito/Private Browser Window. This will allow you to generate the access token when you sign into your environment around SSO for the new Auth Account.

Sign in to your environment around SSO by tailoring the following URL to your environment's domain: https://yourdomain/TDAdmin/Logintdauth.aspx. Close your Incognito/Private Browser window after you create each Auth Account, and open a new Incognito/Private and sign in around SSO again to generate the next Auth Account and its access token. Repeat for every Auth Account you need to create

Hello Alex,

No if you aren't using SSO, then just sign in regularly to TDAdmin to generate the access tokens for your monitors' auth accounts.

Thanks Mark. Do I have to wait until the cut over happens to create the email auth accounts or can I create them now and deactivate or delete the old iMap Basic ones? - Alex Oquendo Mon 9/26/22 2:25 PM
I would create them *now* and also go ahead and begin using them now so you have absolutely zero email monitors configured to use Basic IMAP auth accounts when 10/1 arrives. - Mark Sayers Mon 9/26/22 3:48 PM
