Suppressing workflow status email notifications

Is there any way to suppress or work around the notifications that go the Creator & Requestor when a workflow approval or rejection changes the ticket Status?  I know we can use a web service to change the status instead, but we want the status change to be immediate and at the same time not notify the users on certain workflows.

Hello David,

At this time there is no optional control for deactivating when workflows send their Approval/Rejection notices to the Creator/Reviewer and Requestor. They will always do this when the workflow is ultimately approved or rejected. The workflow should send those notices even if the workflow does not change the ticket status at all during the final approval/rejection.

Let me know if you have any questions about this functionality.

Sincerely,
