Trying to edit report that is marked "Do not show this report in the navigator (desktop module only)"

Most of my reports are shown in the navigator so I can select the report and select Actions/Edit to edit the report. I have some reports that are not shown in the navigator. How do I edit these reports? I don't seem to be able to do so from the admin app or from desktop app. (I can at least see that the reports exist in each place). Am I missing "reports that you can't see but might want to edit" section somewhere? I am the report owner and don't see anything in security that would stop me from being able to do this.

Hi Greg,

Yes that could be possible. If they are your reports, for instance from the Ticking application, you can just go to that application, click on the title of the "Ticket Reports" section, and see all reports there in the resulting screen even if they aren't set to show on the left nav window. Then click the report name to bring it up and edit via the Actions menu.

Thanks Mark! Your answer helps with almost all of the reports I'm trying to get at to edit. I have one that I cannot find. It is set up to prompt for filters. Could it be that the report was marked with "Do not show this report in the navigator (desktop module only)"? The report details do not include the navigator information and I can't can't bring prompt reports into a desktop to edit. I seem to be stuck.

Hi Greg,

If all you need to do is edit the report you can add it quickly to your Ticketing desktop or the main Desktop. Then, click on the small informational icon/button at the top right of the module that allows you to see the details of that module. The details screen should allow you as the owner of the report to use an Edit button in that details screen to modify the report.
