Briefcase - receiving "Permission Denied" error

I have an enterprise license and am an admin.  I'm trying to change the security settings for a project briefcase folder that I created and receiving the error "Permission Denied.  You do not have permission to view this page."  I've logged out and back in again and that didn't help.  I've been able to make this security change in the past, so I'm not sure what this issue is now.  I need to make this change ASAP.

Hi Denise,

I just wanted to follow up with you on this issue. Is this still happening for you or were you able to get this resolved? If not, we will need to get some more specific details about which project and folder you are working with.

Hi Denise,

Your license type or admin permissions are not what is governing whether the briefcase folders can be modified in this instance. That is a per-project setting which is configured by the manager of the project. Also, security settings cannot be changed for any closed or inactive projects. Do you know if the project in question is still active or open?

I'm working on the top level folder of the briefcase.  I am the user and have all rights.  What am I missing?

Hi Denise,

Is the folder you are trying to change security for the root level folder of the briefcase? Or is it a sub-folder (or sub-sub-folder, etc.)?

I would suggest checking that your user has permissions to Modify at the parent folder level of whichever folder you are wanting to make changes to.

You can also check out this KB article we have on enforcing Briefcase permissions which might help out: https://solutions.teamdynamix.com/TDClient/KB/ArticleDet?ID=8650

Please let me know if you have any further questions.
