Sandbox refresh question

Hi foks,


Isn't a sandbox refresh supposed to happen each quarter? When will the next one happen? It doesn't look like a refresh happened in January or March of this year, as none of our production data is in our sandbox environment.


I saw this message last June from Drake Sigler, who mentioned that the refresh would happen quarterly:

Is there a field or tag that is updated in TD so that we know the date our sandbox has been refreshed?

Hi Peter,

We do perform a refresh of the sandbox environment from production on the first Sunday of every quarter. Notifications are not sent out to our clients for a sandbox refresh. You can always view the refresh schedule, as well as information on how to use SSO with it by visiting our sandbox landing page at https://app.teamdynamix.com/sandbox/ .

Hello Erma,

The refresh of the sandbox environment only happens on the first Sunday of each quarter. The next refresh is due for the first Sunday of April.

I do not see the refresh in the sandbox environment for March.  This past weekend March 3rd to March 4th would be the first Sunday for this quarter and yet the sandbox is only showing up to January dates.  does that mean it will happen this weekend March 10-11?  For those in Daylight Saving Time this coming weekend is moving ahead or losing an hour so this will run longer into the wee hours too.

Would someone from TD please verify if the refresh is happening this quarter and if so will it be this weekend, March 10-11, 2018.  Thank you!

Thanks Mark that did clarify. 

We have a sandbox instance within our production instance, that's why this is confusing. 

I was able to login to https://ci.teamdynamix.com/sandbox/ and everything did replicate correctly.

Hi Peter,

I wanted to note that if you have another production environment called "sandbox", then it would not have been refreshed. We only refresh the actual sandbox environment located at ci.teamdynamix.com/sandbox.
